Goat farm in Ramnicu Sarat, Romania

In 2014 another large project was completed for the 700 Zaanen goats in Ramnicu Sarat, Romania, where we installed the MP Armektron Fast 4 All made of AISI 304 (DIN 1.4301) stainless steel, with a 1x36 trap, the automated washing and pulsing control system MP Armektron 2to1 Pulse & Wash and a closed type milk tank MP Powertank 2000l with electronic milk measurement.

The equipment of the MP Armektron Fast 4 All included milk collectors with a separate and comprehensive shut-off function, breast pumps for greater flow and high expression capability as well as electronic, waterproof pulsers with an integrated PCB pulse system for the controlling of the pulsing signal and the minimization of the vacuum consumption, thus ensuring optimum performance, excellent system stability and rest stops.

Along with the above-mentioned equipment, the MP Armektron 2to1 Pulse & Wash was used as a lubricated vacuum unit with a silencer and a precision regulator and the inverter MP Nautilus was used for maximization of the life duration of the motor, reduction of oil consumption, effective and silent operation of the vacuum pump and energy savings that go up to 40%.

In the follow ups that followed, the responsible employee has informed us that a significant decrease was achieved not only in operating expenses (water, disinfectants, energy) and in the time required for the completion of the milking process, but also in the appearance of mastitis in animals and in the veterinary care expenses.
